Michel Bregeon, Muscadet Gorges, 2020 SPAINCOUNT0821 Sur le Sentier du ClouMichel Brgeon spent decades making Muscadet at the very top of the appellation; since his retirement in 2011, Fred Lailler has carried the work forward, and the Gorges cuve remains the fullest expression of that lineage. Gorges is one of Muscadet Svre et Maine's Crus Communaux, and what sets it apart from much of the appellation is the gabbro soil a dark, igneous rock that delivers a mineral intensity and grip found nowhere else in the appellation.
