Germany, Third Reich. A Patriotic Belt Buckle, from the John R. Angolia Collection Archive Medal in nearly mint condition(Patriotische Grtelschnalle). Constructed of fire gilded brass, the obverse consisting of an oval frame with scalloped edges, with raised swastika situated at each corner of a frame composed of Grecian latticework, surrounding a central catch and claws, unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 80 mm (h), a high quality example privately purchased by an NSDAP supporter in the early days of the movement, in extremely fine condition.
