Constructed of magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte with ribbed arms, the obverse bearing a central raised Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central raised number 18, unmarked, measuring 35. 19 mm (w) x 39. 58 mm (h), weighing 15. 5 grams, in
