Mid Century Wall Tile by Soholm Birds on a Nest china painting carnations grew from the VirginThis vintage wall plaque shows a pair of birds sitting on an egg in a nest. It was designed by Noomi Backhausen (1938 2011) for Soholm Keramic (1835 1996) on the island of Bornholm Denmark. It measures 7" square and 7 8" thick. Made from a durable, heavy stoneware, it has a wire hanger on the back and ready to hang in your home or Summer garden. Impressed marks on the back. It remains in excellent original condition.
