Red Lacquer Chinese Sideboard From Dongbei - Ca 1920 Material - Chicken Wing Wood 36 x 33 x 22This is an original lacquered Sideboard From Dongbei (Manchuria) and was made in the 1920's. 'Dong' means East 'Bei' means North the region of their origin. These were used in a similar way to altar tables and usually, a family ancestor portrait would be hung above.
