Ferberite Vivianite A more than worthwhile matrixA classic V shaped or heart shaped twin (twinned along the {100} face) of Ferberite from the famous Tasna mine in far southern Bolivia. This locality has produced what must be the finest twinned Ferberite crystals extant. Ferberite as a species is not known in well crystallized examples worldwide, and the twins from Tasna are a favorite among collectors. This twin is a great example of this material as it shows a fairly open twin, with aesthetic form.
